About Stephen

As much as I love design, engineering has always been my passion. As a kid, I would disassemble household appliances to see how they worked. When I got my first TI-83, I’d spend second-period teaching myself to program by studying the source code of calculator games. I missed out on Calculus, but I learned a lot about critical thinking and using technology creatively.

I approach design from a technical perspective. I began my career as a front-end developer, which gives me unique perspective and creative freedom as a designer. I know what’s possible and what’s not. I know how to talk to developers and brainstorm programming solutions. I know how to lead a team, and I know how to take new and trending technologies and transform them into something unique and beautiful.

Today, nothing brings me more fulfillment than creating things that impact others. As I’ve progressed through my career, interactive design has been the catalyst for channeling my love for problem solving into experiences that reach and affect many. New technologies excite me and new challenges keep me up at night. I want to craft designs that surprise and delight your customers, and create experiences that are memorable, engaging, and share-worthy. Let’s get started.
